At Notre Dame School, we are in the Advent Season.
This week our first candle represented Hope. As a school, we offered prayers of hope for the world.
Next week our second candle represents Peace. During next week, we will learn about how Jesus brought Peace to our world. We will also explore how we are called to bring peace to others. To help us do this, we are asking for donations of mitts, toques and scarves. We will create a "Wreath of Warmth" and on December 20th, we will donate that warmth to a local charity.
