Lenten Project

Jesus calls us to be disciples who serve. "In all this I have given you an example that by such work we must support the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, for he himself said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." Acts 20:35

Our school is partnering with The Mustard Seed to help provide prayers, items of need for those less fortunate in our community.

Students heard from one of the Mustard Seed representatives at the January assembly, of why our help and prayers are so important.

During the 6 weeks of Lent, we are asking students and community members to donate items of need to our friends at the Mustard seed, as well as pray for this community of people. Students and classes will be creating their own prayers which will be read daily throughout Lent.

Items of Need

Week 1 Feb 12-16: Toothpaste (can be large or travel size)

Week 2 Feb 19-23: Toothbrushes

Week 3 Feb 26- Mar 1: Underarm deodorant

Week 4 Mar 5-9 : Soap (soap bar is prefered) 

Week 5 Mar 12-16: Combs and brushes

Week 6 Mar 19-22: Women and men's underwear and Socks
